In the workshop, we will make our disused instruments and second-hand items produce some crazy noises! Participants should bring their own electronic device that produces any kind of sound and is battery-powered, i.e. an alarm clock, children’s toy / instrument, gameboy, keyboard, speak-n-spell, transistor radio, etc., as well as a soldering pencil or iron. Other materials such as alligator clips, potentiometers, switches, screwdrivers and the like will be provided for a small workshop fee (no more than 5 euros).
No previous knowledge required, but it would be great if you registered (no more than 15 participants).

WORKSHOP: ZINE

WHEN: SATURDAY, 22.11./ 16-19h/ KULTURBUNKER MüLHEIM/ CAFÉ

MIT: ELENA, ALVA, LOLAGOUINE/IT'S RAINING DYKES UND TROUBLE X

We firmly believe that nobody needs to learn how to make a zine, otherwise we wouldn't have ever started our own. But maybe you'd like to exchange ideas with grrrls who have ben part of a tiny but smug circle of friends that have spent too many hours glueing together little magazines, drawing in them, typing up their opinions and then hassling people at gigs or cafes to buy them just to get some feedback. Guess what, we always had fun and it's gonna be even more fun to collaborate with you on a fanzine (because also then us lazy-asses don't need to fill all that space by ourselves). What we love about zine-making and trying to get across to you to inspire you is: networking, not being interrutpted in our flow of thoughts, unlimited creative potential and of course glue and scissors. Please join us even if we seem nerdy. Check out our projects.
